When removing water softener resin, a certain skill and sequence is required. The order must be followed. First, remove the inlet and outlet pipes, drain pipes and drain pipes. Then remove the control valve head of the suction pipe.
The step of pulling out the central tube is an important process, but if the diameter of the FRP tank is greater than 500mm, it is not necessary to take out the central tube, because the central tube will not be contaminated.
Using the principle of siphon to extract resin, this is a very scientific method, which is worth popularizing.
Then install the center tube (if removed) and plug the top of the center tube with plastic wrap. This is to prevent the resin from flowing into the center tube and causing clogging.
Pour resin and install control valve head to hold resin.
Adjust the control valve to the backwash position (downstream regeneration), supply a small amount of water, and keep the water speed constant. In this way, the resin tank gas is discharged.
Check for leaks. If there are no leaks, and if everything is set up correctly, the resin will be replaced.
